Tre Tesori nel cuore - Una testimonianza di Wassim Nehme

Carissimo Pino,
Dear Pino,
Today, on the 5th of December 2015, 11 years have already passed since the moment that Elisabeth and I arrived in the USA.
This morning during my meditation, like always, you came to my mind, and here is my reflection that I would like to entitle “The Treasures of the Heart”.

How is it possible to describe what fills the heart with gratitude?
I’ve been holding this thought in my heart for more than 20 years, ever since the day I started my Shen journey with you, my journey toward the treasures of the heart at Ego Center. I clearly remember how I was at that time: I felt uprooted from my homeland and from my life, alone and defeated by so much pain accumulated for years, from many years of losing dear ones that the civil war in Lebanon took away too soon, and most of all the loss of my mother when I was only 2 1/2 years old. These events led to the loss of trust in life and consequently in myself and others.
All this was invisible to the eyes but your heart saw me without a veil, your heart gently took away my mask, and for the first time in my life, I felt at home. I precisely remember that flight over the valley of my homeland during my first Shen experience with you, and the shattering of my icy shield, that gave space to the warmth and the aromas of my land...the memories of my loved ones, the places of childhood, of play, of pain, of life lived but forgotten... but that my body did not forget.
I remember years of flowing tears, memories processed and transformed, rediscovered laughter and joy of living; the fullness of life. Today I find myself reflecting on how precious those years were for my life.
Today, to observe the growth and transformation of the people in Shen journey with me reminds me every day of my own transformation, and leaves me with a sense of profound gratitude towards you, towards them, and towards what my life is today. I walk every day with you in my heart like a guiding star, and today more than ever, with all the suffering afflicting the world, I realize the preciousness of your Shen teaching
Wassim
But what is the greatest joy that a person can find?
The sages say that the greatest joy is to find a real Master. I know that you are there, and I am very happy for this gift.
I shin den shin (from my heart to your heart)
Wassim

Grazie mille, Wassim!
thank you very much, Wassim!
